Linking objects to a data source

Schemas

For data links to work, Xstudio must first recognize where the data is coming from. This is
done by setting up one or more data sources within a schema. Once the data source exists,
it can be used over and over again to create data entities (i.e. snapshots, tickers, multi-
tickers and classes). When you create a schema, you specify at least one data source and
its identifying information (e.g. location, whether it is a database, Excel file, text file, social
media provider etc.).
