Adding this action to an event allows you to create your own action by writing a script. For
example, you could use one to animate your graphics on take and on clear.
When you add a C USTOM action to the A CTION column, a list of scripts appears in the
C USTOM A CTIONS portion of the Action Table (where the Action Parameters are usually
located, figure 10-7 ). The Custom Actions lists all of the scripts on your system (also listed
within the S CRIPTS root category in the Asset Browser).

Select an existing script from the Custom Action list, or access the S CRIPT E DITOR to create
a new one (see “Accessing the Script Editor” on page 18-2 ). The required parameters
depend on the script selected.
Note that when you select an existing script it will henceforth appear in the A CTIONS drop-
box for that asset only. See “Creating custom actions” on page 10-13 for further details.
