Animating scene objects
Clip properties
A clip is a pre-recorded video sequence. Positions in the clip are expressed in terms of
seconds rather than frames.
Additional properties determine how the clip will play. However, these properties need to be
set before playing the clip. Once the clip is playing, changing these properties will have
unpredictable effects. (Generally, these properties are set up in the frame preceding the
frame on which the clip's Visible property is switched on.)
Property
What it does and how to make it animate
AudioLevel
Sets the volume of the clip’s audio playout. Specify a value within the range
of 0.0 (mute) to 1.0 (100%). To amplify a low-level audio playout, you can
set this property to a maximum value of 8.0.
AudioProfile
* This property is currently not supported in animations on the CG.
An index (integer) into a set of pre-defined audio profiles. These profiles are
defined in the CG control panel and define how the various audio channels
are mixed.
ClipName
The clip to be displayed. Specify the clip to display at the selected keyframe
by dragging it from the Asset Browser and then dropping it into the
ClipName field in the Keyframe Editor.
EndTime
Specifies the end time for the clip. Manually enter the time in the StartTime
field in the EndTime field in the Keyframe Editor. It is recommended that the
EndTime be set at the same keyframe as the StartTime.
Loop
When selected, restarts the clip from the time indicated by the Loopback
property.
PlaybackStateOnInvisible
* This property is currently not supported in animations on the CG/XG.
Determines what a clip does when it becomes invisible. It can be one of

PLAY: Continue playing
•
PAUSE: Pause
•
RECUE: Stop and recue itself at the beginning
StartTime
Specifies the time at which the clip begins.
