Publishing assets to output devices
In the Vertigo workflow, assets are centrally stored in the Xmedia Server. Therefore, in order
for a scene to be played out on an output device, you must publish the assets to the device.
You can publish after creating your scene and take it to air immediately, or publish it and
then take to air later.
When you publish, Xstudio’s Publish Progress dialog box keeps track of which assets have
been recently published and the status of the publishing process for each.
There are two (2) ways in which assets can be published to a device:
•
“Manually publishing assets to devices in Xstudio” on page 11-3
•
“Automatically publishing assets to devices in Xstudio” on page 11-4
