Appendix C - Xstudio properties

ShadowDirection

[ShadowDirection]

Applies to: Text2D objects.

Description: Sets the direction of the shadow that displays behind
the characters of Text 2D objects. Effects display only on the
output device.

Accepted values: Enter an

ANGULAR

DEGREE

value within the

range of 0 to 359 degrees, where:

0 - 90 projects the shadow to the upper-right side of the
characters.

91 - 180 projects the shadow to the lower-right side the
characters.

181 - 270 projects the shadow to the lower-left side of the
characters.

271 - 359 projects the shadow to the upper-left side of the
characters.

ShadowDistance

[ShadowDistance]

Applies to: Text2D objects.

Description: Sets the distance of the shadow from the center of the
characters of the Text 2D object. Effects display only on the output
device.

Accepted values: Enter a value that represents the

NUMBER

OF

PIXELS

from the center of the text character. Depending on the

setting of the

ShadowDirection

property, a positive

ShadowDistance value advances the shadow in the specified
direction, while a negative value retracts the shadow.

ShadowGradient

[ShadowGradientStyle]

Applies to: Text2D objects, when the

ShadowType

property is set

Description: Sets the type (direction) of gradient used to draw the
shadow that displays behind the characters of Text 2D objects.

Description: Sets the type of material used to draw the shadow.

Description: Sets the opacity (transparent versus opaque) of the
shadow that appears behind the text characters in the Text2D
object.

Accepted values: Enter a value greater than or equal to 0 (0%
opaque or completely transparent) and less than or equal to 1
(100% opaque).
