Deleting Asset Browser categories
Root categories and categories containing subcategories cannot be deleted. In other
words, only categories which contain no other categories can be deleted from the Asset
Browser (see figure
13-4 ).

If a category contains only assets, but no sub-categories, then the category can be deleted.
However, be aware that the assets contained in the category will also be deleted, unless a
copy of the asset is located in another category.
To delete a category:
1.
In the Asset Browser, right-click on the category heading.
A context menu appears.
2. Select D ELETE from the context menu.
3. The C ONFIRM D ELETE dialog box appears and verifies whether you really want to delete
this category. The dialog box even gives you a summary of the contents of the
category.
4. If you would still like to delete the category, click Y ES and the category is immediately
removed from the Asset Browser.
If, however, you no longer want to delete the category, click N
O and no changes are
made to the category.
