Applies to: Crawl and roll objects.
•
Description: The direction in which text flows for crawls and rolls.
•
Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list: L

Dynamic
[Dynamic]
•
Applies to: All primitives.
•
Description: Indicates whether the object is
DYNAMIC
(i.e.
changing) or
STATIC
. Fewer resources are used by the output
device for non-dynamic objects.

Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list: T

EdgeBlur
[EdgeBlur]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: Blurs the edges that surround each character in the
Text2D object. Effects display only on the output device.
This property does not affect the blur of the character’s face (see
“FaceBlur” on page 15-19
).

Accepted values: Enter the
NUMBER
OF
PIXELS
that will define the
thickness of the blurred portion of the edge.
EdgeColor
[EdgeColor]
•
Applies to: Text2D objects.
•
Description: Sets the color of the edge that surrounds each
character in the Text2D object. This property does not affect the
color of the character’s face (see
“FaceColor” on page 15-19
).
Note that when the
EdgeType
property is set to G
RADIENT
, an
additional EdgeColor property appears in the object’s Properties
Browser.

Accepted values: Click in the property’s text box and then click the
button to display the C
