Animating scene objects
Box
When the V
ISIBLE
animated property is enabled, the B
OX
transition style introduces
the object into the scene by revealing it from its center first, and then progressing
outward.
When the V
ISIBLE
animated property is disabled, the B
OX
transition style removes
the object from the scene by hiding its extremities and moving inwards.
Parameters:
•
O
RIENTATION
: The O
RIENTATION
parameter specifies the direction(s) that the
Box transition will use to reveal or hide the object.
•
H
ORIZONTAL
: When V
ISIBLE
is enabled, the Horizontal setting
exposes the object horizontally (left-right), starting from the
center and moving outward.
When V
ISIBLE
is disabled, Orientation setting hides the object
horizontally (left-right), starting from the outsides and moving
inward.
•
V
ERTICAL
: When V
ISIBLE
is enabled, the Vertical setting
exposes the object vertically (up-down), starting from the
center and moving outward.
When V
ISIBLE
is disabled, Orientation setting hides the object
vertically (up-down), starting from the outsides and moving
inward.
•
C
ENTER
: When V
ISIBLE
is enabled, the Center setting
exposes the object both horizontally (left-right) and vertically
(up-down), starting from the center and moving outward.
When V
ISIBLE
is disabled, Center setting hides the object
both horizontally (left-right) and vertically (up-down), starting
from the outsides and moving inward.
•
F
EATHERING
: This setting determines the transparency gradient that is applied
to the leading edge of the object as it transitions. Assigning a positive value
allows you to set this parameter as a percentage of the image. For example,
0 results in a zero percent or no gradient, while 1.0 is 100% transparent. Using
a negative value allows you to specify the value in pixels, rather than a
percentage of the object.
•
D
URATION
: The length of time that it will take to complete the transition after it
is initiated at the keyframe. Enter the number or frames, or the amount of time
(00:00:00). The visibility keyframe adjusts its length on the timeline to
represent the duration of the transition.
