Linking objects to a data source

Editing and deleting data entities

You can change or delete an entire schema or one of its data entities at any time.

To edit or delete data entities:
1.

Right-click on the data entity. This displays a pop-up menu.

applies to snapshots, tickers, multi-tickers and classes (see

“Renaming or saving a copy of

a schema with a new name” on page 9-9

). Basically, renaming is risky unless you have just

created the data entity. Any links you have made with it in templates and control panels will
be broken.

Saving a data entity as something else creates a copy of it while keeping the original and
any links created with it.
