Appendix C - Xstudio properties
Data Update
[AutoReadData]
• Applies to: Text, text box, check box, drop box, radio button and image
objects.
• Description: Indicates whether or not data will automatically update when
the source is checked by the D
ATA S ERVER . See “Linking objects to a data
source” on page 9-1 .
• Accepted values: Select from the drop-down list: A UTOMATIC or M ANUAL
EndTime
[EndTime]
• Applies to: Timer objects.
• Description: Sets the precise time at which the timer object will stop
counting. Be sure to set the timer’s
Infinite property to F ALSE , otherwise
the timer will disregard the EndTime setting and continue counting.
• Accepted values: Enter a value that follows the same time format as the
F ORMAT property, e.g. 0:30. To have the timer count up, set the EndTime
value to a higher value than the StartTime value. To have the timer count
down, set the EndTime value to a lower value than the StartTime value.
FaceColor
[FaceColor]
• Applies to: Text and text box objects.
• Description: Sets the precise color of the text characters face, excluding
the characters’ edge.
• Accepted values: Click in the property’s text box and then click the
button to display the C OLOR dialog box. Select an RGB COLOR DEFINITION
(e.g. R: 0 G: 0 B: 0) and then click OK.
Font
[Font]
• Applies to: Text, text box, drop box, check box, image, radio button,
ActiveX, timer and button objects.
• Description: Sets the font for the text characters.
• Accepted values: Select the property’s text box and the click the
button to display the F ONT dialog box. Select a FONT NAME , STYLE , AND
SIZE (e.g. Arial - 18) and then click OK.
Forecolor
[ForeColor]
• Applies to: Check box, radio button, timer and button objects.
• Description: Sets the foreground color for the object.
• Accepted values: Click in the property’s text box and then click the
button to display the C OLOR dialog box. Select an RGB COLOR DEFINITION
(e.g. R: 0 G: 0 B: 0) and then click OK.
