Modifying the font properties of text objects
You can edit the font properties of text and text box primitives on the control side and text2D
primitives on the scene side using Xstudio’s F
ONT
toolbar or P
ROPERTIES

OTE
You can select several text and/or text box objects and apply the same font properties to all
at once. To select multiple text boxes, hold down either the SHIFT or the CTRL key while
clicking each object to be grouped.
To modify an object’s font properties using the Font toolbar:
1.
Select the object by clicking on it once.
2.
In the F
ONT
toolbar:
a.
Make a selection from the
FONT
drop-down list to select a font.
b.
Make a selection from the
PIXEL
SIZE
drop-down list to change text size.
c.
Click
to apply bold formatting and/or
to apply italic formatting.
To modify an object’s font properties using the Properties Browser:
1.
Select the object by clicking on it once.
2.
Open the Property Browser:
• Select the P
ROPERTIES

icon
Or,
• Right-click the object and select the P
ROPERTIES
from the context menu.
3.
Select the F
ONT
property field in the Property Browser.
4.
Press the button. The F
ONT
dialog box appears.
5.
Select the desired font type, style, and size, and then click OK.
