Masking the Defocus effect with a selected pattern

Press [Mask] to display the Mask menu, and set the pattern type and modifiers.

For details, see “Mask Settings” (page 496).

Blur Settings

Applying the Blur effect

In the DME menu, select VF2 ‘Video Modify’ and HF1 ‘Defocus/Blur.’

The Defocus/Blur menu appears.

Press [Blur], turning it on.

The Blur effect is enabled. You can adjust the blurring of video and key
signals with the knobs.

Note

On the MVE-8000A and MKS-6470, the Glow and Blur effects cannot be
enabled at the same time. The effect which was turned on most recently is
enabled.

When the MVE-8000A/MVE-9000 is connected through an SDI interface,
in the group, select the signal to which you want apply the
Blur effect.
