Note

When using MKS-6470, graphics are displayed on the monitor signal of the
switcher.

For details, see “Superimposing the graphic display on the monitor signal”
(page 434).

When the MKE-8021A is installed in the MVE-8000A to provide an SDI
interface or when the MVE-9000 is used, it is possible to output graphics to the
Monitor Out connector.

Superimposing the graphic display on the monitor signal

Note

When using the MKS-6470, the graphic display is superimposed on the
monitor signal (DME MON V, DME MON K).

In the Graphic menu, press [Monitor Out], turning it on.
The graphic display appears on the monitor signal to which the DME output is
assigned.

You can select which DME channel output is assigned to the monitor signal.
For details, see “Applying a DME Effect to a Key” in Chapter 4 (Volume 1).

Canceling Virtual Images

When a transformation is executed with an extreme degree of perspective, the
part of the image which is beyond the imaginary view point can wrap around
and show on the other side. The wrapped-around portion is referred to as a
virtual image.
Using the DME menu, you can make a setting not to show the virtual images.

Canceling virtual images

In the DME menu, select VF6 ‘Input/Output’ and HF2 ‘Video/Key.’

The Video/Key menu appears.

Press [Wrap Around], turning it on.

The virtual image disappears.
