The video monitor will keep its bounds, and the video window will be resized to fill as
much of the video monitor area as possible, given the new aspect ratio.
Setting a Video Monitor’s Aspect Ratio
To set a video monitor’s aspect ratio
1 Click the video monitor whose aspect ratio you wish to configure.
Video monitor with an aspect ratio of 16:9
2 In the Properties pane, click the Current aspect ratio box, and then select the
appropriate aspect ratio from the list.
The selected aspect ratio is applied to the video window, within the video monitor.
Note:
In the case of a Kaleido-X or Kaleido-X16, the minimum width
supported for a video window is 1/16
th
of the original signal’s horizontal
resolution. In the case of a Kaleido-X, the minimum height supported for a
video window is 91 pixels. For a Kaleido-MX, Kaleido-MX 4K, or
Kaleido-Modular-X, the minimum width is 128 pixels. In the case of a
KMV-3901/3911, Kaleido-XQUAD, or Kaleido-IP, there is no minimum size.
Note:
Double-click the video monitor, if it is part of a composite monitor.
