Securing a Child Restraint Designed
for the LATCH System

1. Find Itie anchors for the seating position you want

to USÈ, where the bonom ot the seaiöack meets the
bach of the soot cushion.

2. Pul the child restraint go rtie seal.

3. Attach tile anchor points on the child restraint ic the

anchors in the vehicle. The child restraint
instructions will show you hpwn

4. II the child restraint is forward'facing, attach Ihe top

strap to Ihe top strap anchor. See Top Strap on
page t-42. Tighten Ihe top strap according to
!he child restraint instructions.

To remove the child restraind, simply unhüoh the top
strap from Ihe top tether anchor and then disconnect the
anchor poirrta.
