wrong fluid c^n badly damage brake

parts. For example, just a Tew drops

mineral-based oil, such
as
engine oil, in your
brake system can damage brake system
parts so badly that they'll have to be replaced.
Don't let someone pul tn
the
wrong kind of íluíd.
* It you spill brake fluid on your vehicle's painted
surfaces, the paint finish can be damaged.
Be
careful noL lo Spill brake fluid on your vehicle. If
you do, wash it off Immediately. See
'"Appearance Саге"* in the Inde*.
Brake Wear
Your vehicle has four-wheel disc brakes.
Disc brake pads have builNn wear indicalofs that make
a hlyh-pitched warning sound when ifie brake pads
are worn ar^J new pads are needed. The sound
may СОГГЕ and go or be heard all the lime your vehicle
is moving (except when you are pushing on ths
braks pedal firmly).
Д CAUTION:
The brake wear warning sound means that
soon your brakes won't work well. That could
lead to an accident. When you hear the brake
wear warning sound, hsve your vehicle
serviced^
Notice:
Continuing to drive with wom-out brake
pads couid result in costly brake repair,
Some driving conditions or dirnates may cause a brake
squeal when the brakes are first applied or lighUy
applied. This does not mean somelhing is wrong with
your brakes.
Property
torqued wheel nuts are necessary to help
prevent brake pulsation. When tires are roiated. inspect
brake pads for wear and gvanly tighten wheel nuts in
the proper sequence lo GM torque specifications.
Brake linings should always be replaced as complete
axle sets,
