|rs a good Idea to check /our engine oil every time you
gel fuel, In ofcier to get an accurate reading, (he oil
must ba warrrt and the vehicle must he on level ground.
Checking Engine Oil
Pull out Ihe dipstick and dean It ^ilh a paper towel or
doth, then posh it bacli in all the way. Remove it agairr.
keeping the Up down, and check the levet.

The engirt oH dipstick has a yellow ring handle and is
lotated in Ihe engine compartment on the passenger's
side of the vehicle. See Engine Compsfimmt
on page-5-12 for more information on localion.
Tum off the engine and give ihe oil several rninutas to
drain back into toe oil pan. If you donT, the oil
dipstick might net show the aclual level.
