A CAUTION:

You can be sertouaty hurt If your shoulder belt
Is too loose. In a craah, you would! move
forward too much, which could ¡псгеавв injury.
The shoulder belt should lit against your body.

The lap part of Ihe bell should be worn low and snug on

the hips, Just touching the thighs. In a crash, this
applies Force tg the strong pe!vic bones. And you’d be
less likely to slide under the lap bell. If you slid under it.
the belt would apply force al your abdomen. This
could cause serious or even fatal Injunes. The shoulder
tieU should go over the shoulder and across the
chest. These parts of the body are bast able to lake bell

restraining forces.

The safely bell locks IF Ihgra's a sudden slop or a crash.
