Remaving itie Flat Tire and Installing
the Spare Tire
Usé ihe wheel wrench
to
loosen
all
tho wheel
nuts. Turn ihe wheel
wrench
cûUiiTef clock wise to
loosen tho wh&et nuts.
Don'l remove the
wheel nuts yet.
Notice:
If your vehicle Is equipped wUh
QUADRASTEEH^** avoid qontaOt with tie rods and
tie rod boats when Jacking the vehicle.
2- Position tha jack under the vehicle. If the flat lire is
on the rront ol the vehicle (Two-Wheel Drive
1500 Series vehicles^, position the jack under the
bracitel attached to the vehicle’s trame, behind
the flal tire. If the flat tire is on the front of tha
vehicle (all other models), position ihe jack on the
frame behind the flat tine.
If Ihe flat tire is on the rear, position the jack under
the rear axle between the spring anchor and the
shock absorber bracket.
IF you have added a snow plow to the fror^t of your
vehicleH lower the snow plow fulfy before raising
the vehicle.
