pedal. Wait for the vehicEs to stop moving and then,
shitt into REVERSE Lei up on the clurch pedal
siowly while pressing the accelarator pedal,
Notice: Shifl Into REVERSE only after your
vflhEcle Is stopped. Shifting Into REVERSE (R) while
your vehicle is moving could damage your
transmission. The repair^ would not be covered by
your warranty.
Also, use REVERSE (R), along with the parking brake^
when turning off your engine and parking your
vehicle.

FIRST (1): Press the clutch pedal and shift Into
FIRST (I). Then, slowly let up on Ihe clutch pedal as
you press the acceleralor pedaL
You can shift info FIRST {1) when you're going tess

20 mph {32 km/h). If you've come to a compfgta
slop and it's hard to shift inlo FIRST {i), pul the
shift lever into MEUTRAL and let up on nie dutch-
Pnesa the clutch pedal back down. Then shift into
FIRST (1).
SECOND (2): Press Ihe clutch pedal as you let up on
Ihe accelGrator pedal and shift into SECOND (2).
Then, slowly le! up on Ihe clutch pedal as you press Ehe
accelerator pedai.
