Anti-Lock Brake System Warning
Light Traction Off Light
Wilh the anti-lock brake
system, this light will come
on when you start your
engine and may stay on far
several seconds. That’s
noimal. If the fight doesn't
corne on then, have ft fixed
so if

you If there is a problem.
If the light stays on, or comes on when you're driving,
your vehicle needs service. You will also hear a
chime sound when the light is on steady. It the r^egular
brake system warning light isn’t on. you still have
brakes, but you don't have anii-fock brakes. If the
regular brake system warning ligtil is also on you don't
have antf-lock brakes and there's a problem with
your regular brakes. In addition to both lighfs, you wilt
also hear a chiime sound on (he first occumenoe of
a problem and each time the
car is shut off and then

It you have the Traction
Assist System, ihls light
should comp on hriafty
when you lum Ihe ignition
10 RUN.
If the light doesn’t come on then, the system may
require service; have it fixed so il wilt be there to warn
you if Ihe system Is turned off,
If the light stays on, or comes on when you’re driving,
there may ba a
prohierTT with your Traction Assist
Systerri and your vehicle may need service. Whan this
light is on, the system will not iijtiil wheel spin. Adjust
your driving accordingly
