laboratory test wheel. Sustained high ternperalure can

cause Ihe mate rial of the tire to degenerate and
raduce tíre lite, and excessive temperature can lead to
sudden tire failure. The grade C correspor^ds to a
level of performance which alt passenger car tines must
meet under the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard
No. 1U9, Grades 0 and A represent higher levels of

performance on the laboratory ]esl wheel than the
rtilnimum requireid by few.

excessive loading, either separately or In combination,
can cause heat buildup and possible tire failure.

The wheels on your vehicle wore aligned and balanced
carefully at the factory to give you the longest tire life
and best overall performance.

Scheduled wheel alignment and wheel balancing are
not needed- However, it you notice unusual tira wear or
your vehicle pulling one way or fhe other, Ihe alignment
may need to be reset. II you notice your vehicle
vibraiing when driving on a smooth road, your wheels
may need to be rebalanced-

Wheel Replacement

Replace any wheel thai is bent, crackled, or badly rusted

or oorrodod. If wheel nuts l

wheel, wheel bolts and wheel nuts should be replaced
If the wheel leaks air. replace it (except some

aluminum wheels, which can sometirnos be repaired).

See your dealer if any of these condilioos exist.
