Setting the Tone {Bass/Treble)
Adjusting the Speakers (Balance/Fade)
AUDIO: Push the AUDIO knob until BASS, MID or
TREB appears on the display. Tum the knob to increase
□r to decrease, Ff a station is weak or noisy, you may
want to decrease the meble.
To adjust bass, midrange or treblo (o the middle
position, select BASS, МЮ or ТПЕВ and push and hold

position, push and hold the AUDIO knob when no tone
or speaker control is displayed. The radio

AUTO EQ (Airtomatic Equalization): Press this button
to choose between bass, midrange and treble
equalization saltings designed (or country, jazz, talk,
pop, rock and classical prograrri types.
To return |o the manual mode {CUSTOM), press the
AUTO EO button unlil CUSTOM appears
on
(he display.
Then you will bo able to manuaHy adjust the bass,
midrange and treble using the AUDIO knob.
!f your vehicle is equipped with the Bose® audio
system, your equalizalion settings are either CUSTOM
or TAi,K.
AUDIO; To adjust Ihe balance between the rght
and the left speakers, push [he AUDIO knob until BAL
appears on the display. Turn the knob lo ri№ve the
sound toward the left or the rlgh! speakers.
To adjust the fade between the tront and rear speakers,
push and hold the AUDIO knob until FAD appears on
the display. Turn ihe knob to rr>ave the sound toward the
(ronl or the rear speakers.
To adjust the balance and the fade to the middle
position, select balance or tade and push and hold the
AUDIO knob. The radio wilt beep once and will
adjust (he display level to the middle position.
To adju&t all tone and speaker controls to the middle
position, push and hold ihe AUDIO knob when no tone
□r speaker controls are dispisyed. The radio will
produce one beep and C ENTER ED will appear on the
display.
