Open the 2 Chan.cfg station configuration and start the MPE
application
Note:
The instructions in this section are intended to be performed in simulation mode.
1. Click the Windows Start button on your desktop and select Programs > MTS 793 Software > Station
Manager.
Note:
If you are asked to select a controller, select the MTS FlexTest 40 controller.
2. In the Open Station window, select the “2 Chan.cfg” configuration file and then click Open.
3. Minimize the Station Manager window. You do not have to access the Station Manager application
while creating this test.
Click the Windows Start button on your desktop and select Programs > MTS TestSuite > Multipurpose
Elite.
Open the Example Trend Monitoring Test
Note:
The example test is in Project 1, which is the default project. If Project 1is not selected as the default
project, select Preferences > Configuration > Project > Project 1, then right-click the mouse and
select “Set as System Default Project.”
1. Click File > Open Test.
2. Open the Example Trend Monitoring Test. The center of the main window shows the workflow. The
workflow consists of a sequence of connected activities; it is a graphical representation of the test. By
default the example test opens in the workflow editor as shown in (1) in the following figure. Note that
the Trip Action path of the Parallel Path activity is disabled. This workflow is referred to as the Basic
Workflow in this document. The workflow shown in (2) has the Trip Action path enabled, and is referred
to as the Advanced Workflow in this document.
