If you selected the Yes, manually map variables option for
the Save Data to variables? property in the DAQ activity Before starting 1
properties panel, a Before starting property appears in the
Map Variables window. Available options are:
• Discard Array Data—(Default) Clears the array when the
activity starts.
• Retain Array Data—Existing data remains and new points
are appended to the array.
This setting is useful when multiple DAQ activities write data
to the same array at different points in the test.
