Description
Parameter
Displays the calculated area when you specify the
parameters in the Detail for Selected Specimen
Area
panel. Specify the reduced cross-section area on
the specimen.
For a specimen with an Irregular Geometry, you
must specify the area.
For all other specimen geometries, the area is
calculated when related parameters are specified
(or changed).
•
For a specimen with a Square Geometry, the
area is calculated when the Width and
Thickness are specified.
•
For a specimen with a Round Geometry, the
area is calculated when the Diameter is
specified.
•
For a specimen with a Hollow Round
Geometry, the area is calculated when the
Inner Diameter and Outer Diameter are
specified.
Area is a specimen variable that other variables
may use in a calculation.
Indicates whether the specimen has been used in
a test.
Assigned
Displays the domain with which the specimen is
associated.
Domain
Change the name. It must be unique (not the same
as another specimen name) and must not contain
special characters.
Name
Select a specimen shape and show associated
parameters that are used to specify or calculate
the area of the shape of the specimen.
Geometry
Click to view all parameters for the selected
specimen.
View All Parameters
Show the parameters for that specimen type.
Parameter
Show the value of the parameter. Click in the field
to edit the value.
