Taper and ramp settings
You set the taper times and ramp times in the Station Manager application. These settings are saved in
the station configuration file. To access these setting from the Station Manager application, from the Tools
menu, click Channel Options, and then click the Command Options tab.
Note:
The At Start/Stop setting does not apply to the initial instance in which an External Command
activity is started. The initial command behavior is determined by the Enable Ramp property of the
External Command activity.

Setpoint and Span Behavior Settings
Use this setting to enable or disable the Setpoint and Span controls in the Station Manager application
while the MPE application runs the test.
Note:
With the External Command and Set Span and Setpoint activities, you can change the channel
span and setpoint values, even if you disable the Span and Setpoint controls on the MPE Command
Settings tab.
Setpoint behavior
When you select Enable, the operator can change the Setpoint slider in the Setpoint and Span window
while the test is running.
When you select Disable, any setpoint setting in Station Manager is set to zero when the test begins, and
the operator cannot use the Setpoint slider to change the setpoint.
Span behavior
When you select Enable, the operator can change the Span slider in the Setpoint and Span window while
the test is running.
When you select Disable, any span setting in the Station Manager application is set to 100% when the
test begins, and the operator cannot use the Span slider to change the span.
