Project name
The following guidelines apply for naming a project:
• Must be unique among existing projects.
• Is case-sensitive.
• Must follow Microsoft file naming conventions and restrictions.
• Contains both alphabetical and numeric characters.
• Can contain spaces, commas, ‘-’, ‘_’, ‘.’, ‘!’, ‘@’, ‘#’, ‘$’, ‘%’, ‘^’, ‘(’, ‘)’, ‘=’, ‘+’, ‘;’, ‘~’, ‘{’, and ‘}’.
• Cannot contain apostrophes, quotes, ‘&’, ‘*’, ‘[’, ‘]’, ‘:’, ‘|’, ‘<’, ‘>’, ‘\’, ‘/’, and ‘?’.
• Can start with a number or special character.
Test name
The following guidelines apply for naming a test:
• Is case-sensitive.
• Contains both alphabetical and numeric characters.
• Can contain spaces, ‘-’, ‘_’, ‘.’, ‘!’, ‘@’, ‘#’, ‘%’, ‘^’, ‘(’, ‘)’, ‘=’, ‘+’, and ‘;’.

The following guidelines apply for naming a procedure activity:
• Must be unique within a given path, such as a parallel path, conditional (If-Then) path, or main procedure
path.
• Is case-sensitive.
• Contains both alphabetical and numeric characters.
• Can contain special characters, including spaces, apostrophes, quotes, or other special characters.
• Can start with a number or special character.
Runtime display activity name
The following guidelines apply for naming a runtime display activity:
