Format Properties
Format Panel
Use the Format panel on the Properties panel to format the display of a numeric variable value.
Variable Information
Description
Item
Specify the number of rows to be in the meter display.
Rows
Check the box to have labels not be shown on the meter display.
Suppress label display
Check the box and the meter display box on the Designer panel becomes
re-sizable using your cursor.
Manual Sizing
Select the size of the label shown in the meter.
Label Font Size
Select the size of the value shown in the meter.
Value Font Size
Select a color (or transparent) of the foreground of the meter.
Foreground Color
Select a color (or transparent) of the background of the meter.
Background Color
Select Right, Center, or Left for the location of the text on the meter.
Text Alignment
Range Properties for Numeric Variables
Use the Range panel on the Properties panel to force the value of a numeric variable to be equal to or
between the minimum and maximum limits. The Default Value must be inside the Range, or the Range
must accommodate the Default Value.
