Overview of the About Tab
The About tab provides version information for all components needed to run Digital StoreFront. This is
useful, for instance, if you need to provide technical support personnel with information about the
versions of software that are running on your Digital StoreFront site.
To examine the About tab
1. Scroll down to view version information for all software Digital StoreFront uses.
• EFI: Items marked EFI are EFI software components.
•
GAC: Items marked GAC (for global assembly cache) are computer-wide .NET assemblies that
Digital StoreFront uses.
This information is useful to provide technical support if you experience problems. The
database and software version are listed at the top of the page under the heading Version
Information. This page also displays the sitealias, sitekey, and GUID (Global Unique ID) for the
site, which external applications may need to communicate with Digital StoreFront.
2. The What's New link (if it is turned on in the Site Settings > Basic Settings tab; for information on
turning this link on, see Show What is New in Admin Home ) will open the Versions of Digital
StoreFront page. The Versions of Digital StoreFront page displays version information and links to
available software updates and upgrades and their the corresponding release notes (in PDF format).
