Kit: A product in the catalog that has multiple parts or components (such as an assembled document

consisting of a front cover, two chapters, and a back cover).

Language Preference: A product in the catalog that has multiple parts or components (such as an

Layout: Specifies the arrangement of blocks and other page elements.

License: Payment-based authorization to access and use a particular optional feature of the system (i.e.,

one that is not in the base system). Licensable options include: Online Catalog

Manage Online Catalog: A page in the administrative module that enables catalog administrators to

manage the Online Catalog by performing such tasks as defining catalog products and uploading
VDP templates and setting up web form data.

Manage Status: A page in the administrative module that enables administrators to correlate various

order and job production statuses (as they appear on the Order View and Operator View pages)
with customer descriptions.

Media Catalog: A list of all media available for product building, classified by media characteristics: size,

color, weight, holes, type, tab count, thickness.

Media Characteristics: Distinguishing features of media: size, color, weight, hole pattern, type.

Merchant Account: A commercial bank account contracted between a merchant/business (such as a

print provider) and a bank or a payment gateway (such as VeriSign or CyberSource). The account
enables a business to accept credit cards such as Visa or MasterCard. Supported merchant
payment gateways are PayPal PayFlow Pro and Cybersource.

MIS Configuration: Controls that prepare the system to run an MIS: create site certificates and register

to use the MIS.

MIS System: An MIS (management information system) is a back-end system that your print system

communicates with: (1) to import a registered customer list to your system, and (2) to export
order information (e.g., quantity, ticket, and pricing data only).

Native File Submission: The optional feature site administrators can enable to allow users to submit files

in their native format (e.g., .AI, .CDR) without automatically converting them to PDF.

Non-Printed Product: An item in the online catalog that is not printed, such as office supplies, keychain,

mug, case of paper.
