Category: A set of products arranged in some logical fashion (i.e., because they have certain features in
common) designed to help buyers locate items of interest to them.
Column: The vertical element in a layout (e.g., 2-column layout; 3-column layout).
Company Approver: A representative of the company who is designated to approve the purchase of
orders submitted by users associated with the company.
Company Settings: Section of the Companies page with links to configure storefront branding and
specify then unit system for a particular company.
Contact Information: How and where customer support personnel for the company or print shop can be
reached (can include phone number, e-mail address, physical address, etc.).
Cost Center: Cost centers represent divisions within an account such as departments, purchasing
agencies, etc., depending on a company's business model and account set-up. Each cost center
is associated with an account number and account-related information and status. For example,
an account may have two different cost centers that order from your site. You can set up a
separate cost center for each and link them to the same account.
CSR: Customer Service Representative; an agent of the Print Shop or Company authorized to place
orders and perform other tasks on behalf of print buyers.

Dashboard: A page that provides site administrators with vital information on the performance of
various site subsystems and a utility for running tests on a variety of system components and
functions.
Data Lists: Data Lists are lists that can be associated with a variable data field and provides buyers with a
list of choices via a drop-down list. Data sources are global to Digital StoreFront and can be used
across variable data documents. For licensed XMPie variable data feature.
Directory Services Authentication: The optional licensable option that enables the system to
authenticate users and verify the Guest identity via a protocol: LDAP. The authentication
depends on the user name, password, and directory service name supplied by the guest user.
Distillation Settings: Settings that control the PrintMessenger driver settings.
Dongle: Dongle - The hardware security device that is connected to your site server's parallel port; the
dongle controls the system features you are licensed to access.

EFI MIS Connector: A connector that integrates system functionality with an EFI proprietary MIS such as
Logic or Hagen. Licensable option.
eProve: The MicroPress module that enables the system to communicate with MicroPress.
Event Log: A page in the administrative module that displays a running log of all system events that site
administrators can use to monitor system events and track problems. The “Event Log” can be an
invaluable aid to technical support personnel in troubleshooting and repairing system problems.
