Converters Main
File conversion is the process by which a buyer-uploaded file is converted to a print-ready PDF file for
production.
From this page you can control how file conversions take place in Digital StoreFront:
● View Converter Statistics
● Manage File Types
Converter Statistics
From this page you can view file read-only conversion statistics (e.g., the number of files of a given type
that were converted to PDF in Digital StoreFront).
Installers
The Installers page provides site administrators with tools for managing the various applications that
site users can download (e.g., the PrintMessenger).
It is recommended that you click Reset only if you are experiencing general problems with
installers on your site because doing so will render all installer links disabled until you rebuild them.
To manage application installers
1. Click Refresh to refresh the list of installers.
2. Locate the application installer you want to manage:
• Windows PrintMessenger
• Mac PrintMessenger
• Windows eProve (MicroPress v. 8.0.4.0 and older)
•
MicroPress (v. 8.0.5.0 and newer)
• RPC (Remote Print Center)
3. Click Execute to build the installer.
To build/rebuild all installers, click Build All. Note that this might take a while and will slow
the server down.
4. Click Ini File Show to open the installer initialization (.ini) file to verify settings or troubleshoot
problems.
5. Click Files Show to view all of the files in the installer.
6. Click Settings Configure (if available) to configure the installer.
The configuration settings options will vary depending on which installer you select. With the
exception of the PrintMessenger installers, the only option to configure is the mode: HTTP or the
secure HTTPS.
