Bulk Media Import
If your media is in a database, you can use bulk import to save a lot of data entry time by porting
your media into Digital StoreFront via CSV, or comma-separated value, file. Most database applications
will enable you to save your data in CSV format.
To perform a bulk media import
1.
On the Media Catalog > Bulk Media Import tab at the top of the page.
2.
Select the Type of file that matches the format in which you saved your media list: Unicode (UTF-8)
or Unicode.
3.
Select the Field Delimiter you used to separate the values in your media list: , > /t ;
To download and inspect a sample CSV file showing the proper formatting for the media file,
select the Click here to Download Sample CSV File link.
4.
Click Browse... and locate and select a CSV (comma separated value) file containing the media to
upload.
5.
Click Upload Media to upload the media CSV file.
6.
Click the View or Edit Catalog tab at the top of the page and verify that the media were loaded
properly.
SKU is used to identify the media. Media must have a unique SKU in Digital StoreFront or the
import will not work correctly.
