Use MCD: To enable products to use multi-column data sources, check the Enabled box.

Show Address Book: By default, the address book is always presented to buyers as an option
when ordering MCD VDP products (i.e., available in the Select Data Source pull-down list on the
Personalization page). To remove this option for buyers, check this box.
This option is enabled by default to ensure backward compatibility with pre-4.5 versions
of Digital StoreFront.
To set security for a multi-column data set
The multi-column data set association is governed by the basic security settings in Digital StoreFront.

Based on the MCD security settings, a buyer will see the list of only those MCDs which he (or his
Company/Group/Department) has access to. For example:

An MCD called “Managers List” has security set to grant Use Access only to Managers group.
●
Another MCD called “All Employees” has security set to grant Use Access to Managers and
Employees groups.
