Cutting and Pasting a Group

To cut and paste a group

1. In iControl Navigator, right-click the group you would like to cut.

2. From the pop-up menu that appears, select Cut.

3. Right-click the new location (folder or sub-folder) for the group, and select Paste.

The group appears as a new folder in the chosen location.

Renaming a Group

To rename a group

1. Select the group (folder) you wish to rename.

2. Right-click the group folder and click Rename Group.

The Rename Group window appears.

3. Type a new name for the group, and then click Rename Group.

The new group name appears for the chosen folder.

Removing a Group

To remove a group

1. Open the group folder that you plan to remove.

2. Move (drag-and-drop or cut-and-paste) all devices out of the group folder to a new

location. Only empty groups can be removed.

3. Right-click the group folder and click Remove Group.

The selected group no longer appears in the iC Navigator window.

Creating a Proc Amp Device

To create a proc amp device

1. Open the iControl Services Monitoring and Configuration page in Webmin (see

"Starting &

Stopping iControl Services"

, on page 697).

Note: Make sure the Virtual Service Manager is active (green).
