Create new titles
Create a new title from scratch, or use a copy of an existing title as a starting point.
Create a new title

Do one of the following:
•
Choose File > New > Title.
•
Choose Title > New Title and then choose a title type.
•
In the Project panel, press the New Item button
and choose Title.

Specify a name for the title and click OK.

Use the text and shape tools to create a new file or to customize a template.

Close the Titler or save the project to save the title.
Note: Titles are added to the Project panel automatically and are saved as part of the project file.
Create a title based on the current title

In the Titler, open or select the title on which you want to base a new title.

In the Title Quick Properties panel, click New Title Based On Current Title
.

In the New Title dialog box, enter a name for the new title and click OK.

Make any changes to the new title.

Close the Titler or save the project to save the title.
Copy text objects to other applications
You can copy and paste formatted text objects between the Premiere Pro Titler and other applications such as After
Effects, Photoshop, Encore, and Illustrator. The following attributes will be carried between applications:
•
Text contents
•
Font
•
Bold, Italic (but not Faux Bold/Italic)
•
Text Size
•
Leading
•
Kerning
•
Baseline shift
•
Small caps
•
Underline
•
Single solid color fills
•
One single solid color stroke

In the Adobe Premiere Titler, select a text object.

Select Edit > Copy.

Launch the destination application.

Use the Paste command in the destination application to paste the text object into that application.
