Communication
During the transmission, data which are written to the corresponding output area by a
higher−level system via the backplane bus are written to the output buffer and are output
via the interface from there. If the communication processor receives data via the
interface, these data are stored in a ring buffer and are entered in the input area of the
higher−level system via the backplane bus.
