The diagnostic function is only supported by I/O compound modules from HW
version 1B and by bus coupler modules from HW version 1A.
If a module in the system complies with an earlier HW version, the diagnostic
function is deactivated for all modules.
The following indexes can be used for purposes of diagnostics. They show operating states.
