Aging Rules
Aging rules define the minimum and maximum age, freshness factor and URL expression types
used in the smart caching policy. Aging rules manage the expiration of content in cache. Freshness
is an expression of how long Web content resides on the service platform’s local cache before
updated or removed.
Precedence
Set a value determining the order cache access rules are applied. The available range is from 1 - 100.
Permit
When enabled, cache requests that match this rule are permitted. If not enabled, cache requests that
match this rule are denied. The default setting is enabled, making it available locally to requesting
devices.
Source IP
Set the source (origination) IP address transmitted with the caching request.
Destination IP
Set the origin server's IP address for the smart caching request.
Destination Domain
Set the destination domain matched against the hostname included in the smart caching request URL
and apply filtering rules.
Destination Domain
Regex
The destination domain regex is the same as the destination domain, but the destination domain regex
allows an administrator to use standard expression matching origin server names.
URL Regex
Set the regular expressions used to match any part of a requested URL, including the transfer protocol
and origin server hostname.
