Using RPX (RP−0000) Computer Interface Protocol
Hardware connections are shown in Figure 2−101.
Note 1: This is an interface to a specific customer’s externally−generated protocol. The switcher control software
used in the “Control Computer” must be provided by the customer.
Note 2: There must be a temporary LAN connection from the VM/SI 3000 to the Jupiter file server during VM/SI
3000 configuration. See page 2−47.
RPX protocol is set on the Serial Protocol table (page 5−25); and the control computer is identified on the MPK Devices table
(pages 5−109 and 5−129). A technical description of the RPX computer interface protocol is available on request.
