7.12 Serial Line Selection
All serial interface sources of the ATCA-8310 can be redirected to different targets. The serial
line selection is implemented via OEM IPMI commands.
The first serial line COM #0 of the SPP either can be routed to the front connector #1 or to the
terminal server. To be able to debug the IPMI terminal as well, it is also possible to route the
IPMI terminal to the front connector #1.
The second serial line COM #2 either can be routed to the P4080, the Terminal server, or to the
second front connector #2.
