6.2.1.10.3 Marvell Switch (Base Interface Switch)
The base interface switch connects the main switch and the terminal server to the two base
interface ports of the backplane.
The five ports of the switch are assigned as follows:
The default setup is to set up port-based VLANS. Ports 0, 2, and 4 form one group. Ports 1, 2
and 5 form another. This ensures that the two base interfaces are isolated, but the terminal
server is accessible from both plains.
VLAN tags in the packets are preserved for ingress and egress data.
