Third Party Plug-ins
The Sample Editor allows the use of third party plug-ins. These plug-ins work
destructively—the result of the editing process is written into the audio file.
Digidesign Audiosuite plug-ins
Audiosuite plug-ins can only be used with hardware addressed by the DAE (Digidesign
Audio Engine). Any properly installed Audiosuite plug-in will be displayed in this menu.
Preferences
Audiosuite > Preferences allow you to set the buffer size of the Preview mode. A smaller
buffer size results in a faster response to changes of plug-in settings during preview,
but requires more processing power.
