4.4.1 Saving the hardware configuration
In the switch−on phase the SPC200 assigns the axis identĆ
ifiers to the connected axes one after the other. If modificaĆ
tions are made to the axis configuration at a later stage, the
axis identifiers will be re−assigned. All user data already enĆ
tered, such as parameters, programs and the position list for
the new axis configuration cannot therefore be used.
Caution
In this case all data already entered will be reset to the
status as at delivery or deleted when the hardware conĆ
figuration is saved (function Reset data"). Always set the
correct hardware configuration first. Save the hardware
configuration before entering data and programs.
With WinPISA you can read programs and configuration data
out of the SPC200 and archive them.
