[SecPath] interface GigabitEthernet 0/1
[SecPath-GigabitEthernet0/1] ipv6 address auto
With this command executed, if GigabitEthernet 0/1 has no IPv6 address configured, SecPath A
automatically generates a link-local address, and sends a router solicitation (RS) message, requesting the
gateway (SecPath B) to reply with an RA message immediately.
Verifying the configuration
After receiving an RA message with the M flag set to 0 and the O flag set to 1, SecPath A automatically
enables stateless DHCPv6.
