Enabling OSPF on the router
OSPF can be activated only in the RBridge ID context. To enable OSPF on the router, perform the
following steps.
1. Issue the RPC to configure the node in the
urn:brocade.com:mgmt:brocade-rbridge namespace.
2. Under the node, include the leaf element and specify the switch for
which you want to enable OSPF.
3. Under the node, include the node element.
4. Under the node, include the node element to enable OSPF.
The node element contains elements that allow you to configure the global OSPF
parameters. However, the “presence=true” statement that qualifies the container
definition in the brocade-ospf.yang file allows the node element to also function as a
leaf element.
The following example enables OSPF on routing bridge 101.

Disabling OSPF on the router
To disable OSPF, include the delete operation in the header tag, as shown in the following
example RPC.
