4. Under the node, include the following elements.

a. In the element, assign a name to the map.

b. In each successive n> element, associate each inbound CoS value to an output CoS

value.

For example, the following element maps outbound CoS value to 3 for all packets with
inbound CoS value of 3.

5. Issue the RPC to save the running-config file to the startup-config file.

The following example creates a CoS-to-CoS mutation QoS map named “test.”

Applying a CoS-to-CoS mutation QoS map to an interface

To apply a CoS-to-CoS mutation QoS map, perform the following steps.

1. Issue the RPC to configure the node in the

urn:brocade.com:mgmt:brocade-interface namespace.

2. Under the node, include a node element to specify the interface type;

, , , ,
or .

3. Under the node element designating the interface type, include the leaf element and

specify the name of the interface to which you want to apply the map.

4. Under the node element designating the interface type, include the node element,

which is located in the urn:brocade.com:mgmt:brocade-qos namespace.
