Support for password encryption for SNMPv3 users
For SNMPv3 user, the passwords for
can configure either with plain text password or encrypted password. In both the cases, the
passwords are shown as encrypted.
NOTE
This process may not be successful where encrypted passwords are generated by third-party or
open-source tools.
