Field

Description

tftp

Upload software via Internet TFTP.
Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) allows a file to be sent
over a network by specifying the server IP address. The
configuration file must be written to a TFTP file server
accessible by both the Telnet management terminal and the
Access Navigator. Using an RS-232 or Telnet management
session, the operator sends an upload config command to
the Access Navigator, specifying the location of the TFTP server
and the destination configuration file name to use. TFTP server
capabilities, including time-out settings, must match the
bandwidth of the network being used.

config

Configuration database.

ipaddr

IP address where configuration file is to be stored. (This is the IP
address of the TFTP server.) IP address has format
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, where xxx is a number from 0 to 255.

file

File name used to save the configuration data. The file and
optional path must be enclosed in quotes, as in
"C:\CONFIG\AN26". The default path is the root directory of the
TFTP server.

blocksize

Transmission block size (optional), 512 to 8192. The default is
8192 bytes.
